Sometime on the 7th or 8th of this month, people (presumably students) vandalized our Middle School. Pictures of the vandalism are here:

My unsubstantiated guess is that this is because White Salmon won the baseball game against Hood River last week. It is highly unfortunate that someone would do this considering the amount of money it will cost to clean the paint. I don't know that it can be cleaned without damaging the murals that the students worked so hard on.

If you have any influence over any of the middle schoolers, it's important for you to stress that they should not retaliate over on the other side of the river.
This can be fixed and if we have to we can raise the funds to do so as we did with the baseball field when these vandels struck the last time.
This is an opportunity for the 509 to show a little restraint and a lot of class.
